Custom Unions
Capitalise on the market opportunities in the Custom Unions
Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia are members of the Custom Unions (CU) where trade barriers and customs duty are removed to facilitate mutual trade.
Electrical and electronics products entering the Custom Unions must meet the electrical safety requirements as stipulated by the Eurasian Economic Commission. The EAC mark is a mandatory mark that must be obtained and affixed on products to demonstrate its compliance to the CU standard. The product regulation is put in place to provide assurance that the products and services are safe, of good quality and fit for consumers’ needs.
Ensure that your products successfully meet CU standards by working with a market leader, TÜV SÜD. TÜV SÜD fully understands the local requirements and procedures applicable under CU. You can rely on our expertise and knowledge to help you access key markets efficiently while at the same time, be assured of our objectivity, integrity and professionalism.
