The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published a major revision of the ISO 9001 standard on 23 September 2015. The last revision dates back to 2008 and introduced only a small number of new requirements. By contrast, the new version includes a number of important changes for organizations currently holding ISO 9001 certification, as well as those contemplating the development and implementation of a quality management system.

Facilitating evolving market demands, the quality management system ISO 9001 was revised in 2015. Organizations that are currently certified to ISO 9001:2008 need to complete the transition to the revised standard by September 15, 2018.
If your organization already holds an ISO 9001: 2008 Certification, TUV SUD can help you prepare for the transition to the new ISO 9001: 2015 by conducting IRCA approved Public Training Courses Schedule.
Another way of systematic approach towards transition is that we can also help by conducting Readiness Review (Onsite) to check whether you are ready for the new versions before certification. We however strongly recommend that if you have multiple standards i.e. ISO 9001 / 14001, then it is advisable to upgrade both standards together to save time and money.
Kindly also be informed that OHSAS 18001 is expected to be upgraded to ISO 45001 Standard in the first half of 2017.
As an internationally accredited certification body for various management systems, TUV SUD’s certificates are accepted and recognized globally.
